Strange forces - Causes bodies to repel each other when they get too close. Toggles between normal and Modified Newtonian Dynamics (currently disabled) (effect is not obvious - the default mode is more accurate) Toggle between different calculation modes for particles/dust. Set hi-res screenshot to 2x2, 4x4, or 5x5 (default is 3x3)

Toggle movie record (multiple screenshots) Toggle drawing size of bodies (always visible or true to scale) Show / hide relationship lines (connects bodies with their gravitational parent) While holding down the key also press Shift or Ctrl to rotate on the other 2 primary axis. Hold down this key and move the cursor left or right to rotate the hovered body. Use science to bend the laws of gravity, collide planets, boil away oceans, fire epic space lasers, and customize your universe. Explore the beauty of our universe and the fragility of our planet. Hold down this key and move the cursor to move the hovered body. Universe Sandbox Download (v32.2.3) Create & destroy on an unimaginable scale with a realistic physics-based space simulator. This shows all movement of other bodies relative to the hovered body. Sets the radius of the body so that its escape velocity equals the speed of light (this is the Sch warzschild radius) Real Time (where 1 simulated sec = 1 real sec)Ĭhange the collision elasticity in bounce mode. While not entirely realistic, this is a fun way to play with the water simulation on an object’s surface. Laser presets have been reorganized, and we’ve added a new Push Water setting in the Laser panel. The color of water on all planets, and the color of vegetation on Earth, are now customizable via Properties > Appearance. Learn more about fusion power and brown dwarfs in our new guide: Guides > Science > Are Gas Giants Failed Stars? We’ve made significant improvements to the simulated transitions of gas giants into brown dwarfs and stars, driven by a newly simulated Fusion Power energy property. Run Steam to download Update 26.1, or buy Universe Sandbox via our website or the Steam Store.
